About Us

In 2023, BIBC was created out of a shared love of science and technology, and a recognition that underrepresented communities often lack spaces to meaningfully engage with emerging technologies. Not just to discuss how these tools affect our lives, but to actively participate in shaping them in ways that truly matter.
Our growing community includes people with experience in Silicon Valley, others from scientific research and lab environments, and many who are simply passionate about technology and eager to play a real role in its future. We’re here to learn, build, and protect what we create together.
+1

We believe that cutting-edge technology should be shaped by all communities. Sometimes all it takes is one more mind, one more voice, one more idea, the +1 that changes everything.

100%

We harness the power of creativity into delivering unique prototypes, products or services

3+

Our participants have been a part of 3 patent processes. One filed, two are pending
